About

Built for the dig.

TheBinMap is an independent directory of liquidation bin stores, Amazon return stores, and restock schedules across the United States. We built it because nobody else had.

Why this exists

Bin stores exploded onto the American retail scene starting around 2021. What started as a handful of liquidation operations selling Amazon returns in strip-mall storefronts has turned into thousands of stores in every state - most family-run, most without much of a web presence, most impossible to find unless you happen to drive past one.

Shoppers started asking the same questions over and over on Reddit, Facebook groups, and local forums: Where's the nearest bin store? When's restock day? What's pricing like? Is this place legit? The answers existed - but scattered, outdated, and buried in comment threads from 2023.

TheBinMap is the answer in one place. A searchable directory with store addresses, restock schedules, pricing cycles, and honest information about how this corner of retail actually works.

How it works

Every store on TheBinMap has a dedicated page with what we know about it: address, hours, restock day, typical pricing schedule, and any notes shoppers have shared. State pages let you browse by location. The Guide section explains how bin stores work, how pricing cycles are structured, and how to shop effectively.

Listings are maintained through a combination of our own research and community contributions. If you know a store that's missing, submit it. If you own a store and want to correct or expand a listing, claim the listing. The more accurate the data, the more valuable the directory becomes.

Who's behind this

TheBinMap is operated by Quantum Shield Labs LLC, a Maryland-based software and research company run by Michael Bennett. QSL builds directory and information platforms in underserved markets - TheBinMap is one of several such projects under the broader SELARIX portfolio.

We're a small operation. No venture funding, no marketing budget, no clever acquisition strategy. Just useful infrastructure for a community that didn't have a good one. If the Site saves you a wasted trip or helps you find a great store you didn't know about, it earned its keep.

How we make money

Honesty first: TheBinMap displays advertisements through Google AdSense. That's how the site pays for itself. Future revenue may include premium listings for store owners who want enhanced visibility or customer inquiry forms.

We do not take payment to boost a store in search results or skew ratings. Listings are listings. Our job is to give shoppers accurate information; everything else follows from that.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell merchandise or run any physical stores.
  • We don't verify the current operational status of every listing daily - confirm hours before you drive.
  • We don't endorse specific stores, though we will remove listings that turn out to be scams or closed.
  • We don't share your information with anyone - see the Privacy Policy.
